Legal Arguments for Compassionate Choice Available Online

A wide array of legal arguments supporting Oregon’s successful Death with Dignity law are now available for public review on the Internet.

The documents, briefs filed in support of the people of Oregon in the case of Gonzalez vs. Oregon, in which Oregon voters are fighting to defend their successful law against interference from the Bush Administration, can be found and reviewed here:

The high court should honor what it said in 1997 and allow the citizens of Oregon, or any other state, to resolve this emotionally charged issue. No government should be able to tell patients like Caleb Heppner just how much pain and loss of independence they must endure.
